Sunday, 13 May
On Sunday, the students from Shanghai landed in Frankfurt. Afterwards, they went to the accommodation and after a proper dinner, everyone went to bed in order to start the next day fresh and fit.
Monday, 14 May
After a nice breakfast, the group went to the Humboldt School in Bad Homburg. Over there, the students were warmly welcomed and got a guided tour through the institution. Furthermore, they attended some classes and ate lunch in the school cafeteria together with the German students. They spent the afternoon in the beautiful Palmengarten (Palm tree garden). In the evening, they explored the city center and sites of Frankfurt.
Tuesday, 15 May
On the third day of the trip the group went to the beautiful ancient city of Heidelberg. They took a walk in the city centre and visited the castle. In the evening, the group had a delicious and traditional German dinner in Frankfurt.
Wednesday, 16 May
After having the last breakfast in Frankfurt, the students took the bus towards the South of Germany. It was scheduled to visit the fairy-tale-like Neuschwanstein castle and the historical old town of Füssen, Bavaria. In the evening, they continued their trip to Munich.
Thursday, 17 May & Friday, 18 May
On Thursday, the group had breakfast in the accommodation in Munich. Then, they went to the second school of their trip. The students and teachers of the Carl-Orff School welcomed the group from Shanghai and have them a tour and the classes. In the afternoon, they explored the city centre of Munich and ate German Schnitzel in a traditional restaurant. Last but not least, they spent the next and last day of the trip in the school in Munich.
On Sunday, the students took the plane back home. We hope that our guests from Shanghai had a great time and we are looking forward to seeing them again!
